Target Audience

This program is designed for physicians.

The PRUA Annual Meeting is one of the very limited opportunities for urologists in practice within Puerto Rico to attend a CME activity without having to fly out of the island, for this reason, there is a clear need for a well-balanced, unbiased, educational program that will bring our local urologists up-to-date on the diagnosis and management of common urologic problems as well as the prevention and management of complications that could arise in the diagnosis and management of urologic conditions. The 2023 Annual Meeting will address these needs.

The objectives for the 2023 PRUA Annual Meeting are the following:

  1. Provide a framework for sound decision making in difficult cases relatedto nephrolithiasis, pediatric urology, muscle and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, renal cancer, Peyronie’s disease, erectile disfunction and treatment of side effects of cancer care.
  2. Provide an update on pediatric urology.
  3. Provide an update on the best management strategies for muscle and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
  4. Update participants on recent developments in the field of renal cancer.
  5. Review and provide an update about new technologies for the treatment of nephrolithiasis.
  6. Provide guidance for avoiding practitioner burnout.
  7. Present the optimal techniques for correcting pelvic organ prolapse after removal of the bladder.
  8. Provide an update on the contribution of women to urology.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This program is intended for urologists, urologic allied practitioners and other physicians interested in the field of urology.
